Operation Gratitude - We are partnering with Operation Gratitude and writing letters to be included in the care packages they send to U.S. service members. Those that have been deployed for long periods away from home love to receive good wishes and words of appreciation and support. Operation Gratitude strives to include several personal letters in every package that they send. Help ensure that a soldier, sailor, marine or airman knows that you are thinking of them by writing cards or letters. You can pick up a letter writing guideline sheet and drop off any letters you have written at the table on any Sunday during June.

We have put together this Job Seekers/Jobs Available page to help you in your efforts to secure a new position. We&#8217;ll be working closely with local businesses to provide you with job openings as soon as they become available. In fact, many of the jobs you&#8217;ll see listed here are provided by your fellow Gathering members.

Our goal is to help every member of The Gathering (and their friends and relatives) find the employment that best uses their God-given talents and gifts. Romans 12:6 &#8211; 8 (NIV) says, &#8220;We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man&#39;s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.&#8221; God&#8217;s grace has provided each of us with unique gifts and talents. Our Best Foot Forward volunteers are committed to help you discover your gifts and talents and then help you find employment that allows you to best use them.

We&#8217;ll try to keep this web page as up-to-date as possible, but our information is limited to what the individual employers provide us. It&#8217;s possible that a job listed here may have already been filled. To help prevent that from happening, we&#8217;ll purge each job 30 days after the listing date unless we&#8217;re told otherwise. We&#8217;ll leave your Job Seekers information on the site for 60 days unless you notify us to keep it online for an additional 60 days. We will not use your name or other personal information on the Job Seekers listing to protect your privacy.

If you have any questions, please contact us at BestFootForward@TheGatheringHome.org.

Good luck, and God Bless!

<description>

We&#39;ll be going through Youthmark

Important Info:
The dates are June 12th-13th and our location is at The Place parking lot off of Gleneagle Dr next to Loaf and Jug. We would like to have two shifts for those days, 8-12 and 12-4, which include set up and take down. We are also having a bake sale at the same time, so we need everyone to bring 3 dozen cookies, brownies, rice krispy treats, or pies, cakes etc. to sell. Below you will find a list of acceptable items for the sale, all items can be dropped off at the community center on Tuesday nights from 5-8 pm. We will also need paper and or plastic bags, so start collecting and saving those for us.Parents if you are available that day, Rusty could really use your help too, as Kevin and I (Natalie) will be out of town that weekend.

2. Barbeque
We will be having our church barbeque on Sunday May 31st between services and after the last service. We need all of you to be there at 8:00 am to help set up and then to help at both serving times.

These are our two big fundraisers for our trip, so your particaption is MANDATORY! This is how you earn your money, if you are not there you will not get credit. If you are not available those days you must let Kevin or Rusty know.

<description>

Sunday Mornings in the TCA Cafeteria join us for teaching, worship and fellowship.

This year we&#39;ve spent time working out Theology (Life&#39;s Toughest Questions and Life Hurts..God Heals), but I&#39;ve been asking myself, what has that moved us to do? So we&#39;re gonna spend the next few months remembering who Jesus is and what he did. My prayer is that we will start looking more like him and less like the average American youth group. He called us to feed people, to release people from bondage, to love people when no one else will. Are you ready? Will you step up to the challenge of living like Jesus? Join us as we study the: The Gospel of Mark!

i-Groups - Various Times

This is a key program for making our big group smaller by dividing into midweek interest groups. These groups meet in homes and at the Community Center and vary by interest from special interest studies to computers to Xbox and more. The purpose of this group is to get students connected to a Christian leader and then for the leader to encourage them to go deeper in their walk with Jesus through one of our Discipleship and Accountability groups.

Adult Role: i-Group Leader
This is your opportunity to get to know students outside of our Sunday morning large group. You should invite, encourage, get to know, challenge, pray for and follow-up with the students in your group.

d-Groups (Discipleship &amp; Accountability) - Various Times
This is the next step for our students to deepen their relationship with God. These groups meet in homes and at the Ministry Center and are based on Bible Study, Accountability and Prayer. They are gender based and should have a ratio of one leaders to 5 or 6 students. These groups can be very powerful for students if they are being cared for.

Adult Role: d-Group Leader
This is your opportunity to get to know come along side students and share your life with them. You&#8217;ll study the Bible, pray for, encourage, share life, challenge, and follow-up with the students in your group. Student in your group should be challenged to find a church ministry in which to serve.

<description>
SUNDAY MORNINGS::&gt;&gt; We meet Sunday mornings at 11:00am for a high-energy time of games, skits, worship, Bible lesson, small group time, prayer, and, of course, FUN!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY::&gt;&gt; During the school year 5th and 6th graders have the option to attend a Bible study that is held on Wednesday nights at the Ministry Center from 6:30-8:00pm. This study is for kids that want to go a little bit deeper and have some accountability in their walk with the Lord.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHTS::&gt;&gt; Most tweens are not at an age where they can be dropped off at the movies or the mall by themselves. Route 56 has our very own building where your tweens can come every other Friday night from 6:30-8:30pm to hang out, play pool, play video games, watch movies, eat snacks, listen to a short devotional and time of worship, and have fun! Kids can invite their non-Christian friends in this non-threatening environment.

<description>
Kids, do you like to travel? Is having fun your goal? Each Sunday you can join our Missions Kids Class and travel around the world. You will learn about a people group or a holiday. It isn&#39;t like school because you&#39;ll hear guest speakers, watch videos, play games, make crafts and eat foods from that country. You&#39;ll learn a Bible verse that shows God&#39;s heart for all the people of the world to know Him and worship Him. The best part of all is that you&#39;ll learn how to pray for people from other countries. So join us at 9:30 every Sunday if you&#39;re Kindergarten - 6th grade.
